
Trip Hazard
We play tunes, but only the good ones.
A new and exciting bunch of experienced dance musicians with altogether too many instruments, Trip Hazard is a UK-based contra dance band that plays a mix of traditional and contemporary tunes. With their infectious energy and skilled musicianship, Trip Hazard is sure to please dancers of all experience levels.
Trip Hazard is made up of four experienced musicians who are passionate about contra dance:
- Colm on bodhrán
- Robin on whistles and saxophones
- James on melodeon, piano and chromatic button accordion
- Caro on piano, flute, clarinet and saxophone
They bring a wealth of talent to the stage, and their music is sure to get your feet moving. The band is known for their big sound, varied instrumentation, and wide range of repertoire, which is sure to keep you engaged and on your toes all evening.
